MONKEY ADVENTURE TOUR

Everyone enjoys the antics of monkeys.  This monkey tour adventure is combined with a visit to a large cenote in the same area.  The early rising guests will depart from Casa de Celeste Vida with their guide.  You will journey to the area known as El Remate to view monkeys living in their natural habitat.  The area is a very dense jungle and higher than seen near Celestun.  Walk along a wooden path as you manuever through the nature jungle into an area inhabited with the long legged furry creatures.  It is possible to see monkeys as they swing from branch to branch and some might even be curious enough to scale down to have a closer look at you.  Silence is important so sit down, enjoy the sounds of nature and keep your eyes open to the tree canopy above.  After the excitement of monkeys has waned, continue your trek to the cenote in the area.  Here you have the opportunity to swim in the cool waters of the cenote or ride a zipline across it.  This tour is about  5 to 6 hours in duration.
